My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE Maria! We adopted two little girls (6 and 11) from Colombia. We arrived home with them in May, and didn’t want to start them in school until the fall. They didn’t know any English and I’m so thankful that God connected me with Maria. She was able to do a 30 minute session with my 11 year old, and a 15 minute session with my 6 year old 2 days per week over the summer to help teach them English. We were teaching them too, but you know, there’s something about a structured approach that really helps! Maria was always so happy to see the girls, and was even able to pull them out of their funky (and slightly embarrassing) moods. She always provided feedback and additional resources for us to continue with what she was teaching them. When school finally started, they transitioned seamlessly into ESOL and approached their new teacher with the same excitement that they had for Maria. Maria really set the groundwork for them, and I am SO THANKFUL that we made the decision to work with her through the summer. I HIGHLY recommend Maria for any educational needs, and she will be the first one I call for any additional help in our future!! Lauren W.
